About Ag Crop

The three partners of Ag Crop are Erick Richards, Don Heller and Leigh Nauert.  Each of them have backgrounds in production agriculture.

Erick is a 1993 graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Ag Systems Management, an area that includes agriculture engineering, ag business and business management. He currently farms cotton, wheat, sesame and stocker cattle on the Texas Rolling Plains. This active involvement in farming and ranching helps Ag Crop Insurance remember what is important to other farmers and ranchers. It also gives credibility to the advice he gives.

Don is a 1983 graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Animal Science with a heavy emphasis in agriculture economics. He farmed until 1997 and still maintains an active interest in the agricultural community. He has worked as an independent crop insurance adjuster for USAG Insurance Services for several years. This experience has given him a very practical, hands-on understanding of crop insurance.   Don is in the process of completing his Agribusiness and farm insurance specialist designation.

Leigh attended both Texas Tech and Abilene Christian University.  She and her husband, Sammy, farm cotton, wheat, and sesame and raise cattle in the Jones, Haskell and Stonewall county area.  Her business and office experience combined with the practical knowledge of agriculture keeps the Stamford office organized and working smoothly and efficiently. 

About Town & Country Insurance

Gayla started in insurance in 1981 working for two different agents in Erick from 1981 through 2001.  In 2001 she obtained her insurance license and is now the managing agent of Town & Country Insurance LLC.    She has personal lines, commercial lines and crop insurance training.  She has attended college at Canyon, TX and SWOSU at Sayre.  She received an Associate Degree in 1977.

About Jayton Insurance Agency

Beryle Murdoch is a graduate of Texas Tech University and for thirty years served as President of Kent County State Bank.  He is a native of Jayton and has a deep love of the Kent County area.   As a banker, he understands and has seen first hand the value and importance of a good Insurance program.  He will work conscientiously to build the right plan for you.

Tina Lytle is a Jayton native as well.  Her roots run deep in Kent County and she is proud to call this area home!  She has been involved with several businesses before coming to Jayton Insurance.  She continues to grow professionally and enjoys working with people.  She is easy to visit with and works hard to make sure you have the coverages you need.
